Index page and SEO

    I installed wordpress on a subdirectory (site/blog)

    Q1. Once I start navigating through posts how I get back to the original page/home of the blog (site/blog) without editing the address bar?

    Q2. Once I’m done with this post I will transfer it to its own domain name. The goal is to create the whole site in wordpress. What file will the browser look for? index.php? the same way it would look for index.html?

    Q3. How are search engines finding these php sites?
