Index page category problem

Table ‘something.wp_categories’ doesn’t exist]
This shows after I’ve updated to 1.01. I can se all the categories in the adminarea – just not on the index page? Any ideas what the problem is? There’s nothing wrong with the prefix and all that, i’ve looked it through.
I’ve looked through the forums but haven’t come up with anything.
Update: it seems the index page calls for wp.categories, even though it’s named with the prefix b2 in wp-config.php
