Index page showing whole articles content

Hi,

I installed this theme a week ago and played with it a bit. I have an issue with the index page, it shows the whole articles content and not an extract of it. How can I customized it? I thought, by looking at the preview, that I wouldn’t have to do anything to do that but I might have missed something.
