/index.php/ on litespeed server mod rewrite not working

  • hi there,

    i have just installed WP on my server, all good except i cannot remove index.php from the URL which is not great from SEO purpose obvs.

    I have already tried usual settings, from WP admih and on .htaccess but it seems that mod rewrite is not working.

    server is Litespeed.

    any help appreciated.

    BTW i noticed that if i use

    /%postname% WORKS

    /%postname%/ DOES NOT Work and redirects me to the homepage… why?
