• For this page, and two others, my link checker says it is a 410-Not found. When I try to go to it, I get index.php?error=410. Yet when I go to the Posts index I can edit it but I get the index.php?error=410 if I try to view it. This is happening with two other posts but none of the rest of my posts. I’ve tried redoing Permalinks but it didn’t fix the problem. What is causing this and how can I fix this?
    Thanks.

  • The 410 error is trying to tell you the article is gone.

Since you’re seeing the article in the lists of posts, I’d suspect something didn’t delete properly when it was deleted or else a plugin issue deleted (or clobbered) the article erroneously while leaving most of the pointers intact. Or else, some pointers were clobbered themselves.

I’d suspect it was the plugin that created or pulled in the event so you’ll want to think about that and then contact any plugin authors you think might be able to help you.

I looked through your RSS feed and your sitemap for posts but didn’t see the article but I might have missed it. That’s part of my thinking that the article just isn’t really there.

If that article was pulled in by the Events Calendar plugin or that RSS retrieval plugin then I’d start by asking them about it even though both plugins are good steady products that I’ve used myself.

I hope this helps narrow this down some… Let us know if you need more help.
