Index rebuilding every night with 500,000 users time

    Hello, thanks for making this great plugin. It really make search user fast!

    I have around 500k users on my site and increase around 4000 a month. Should I rebuild the index every night? How long will it take? Will it uses up all the CPU power and ram of the server?

    I have installed the plugin for few days but the background user index building is only 40% complete.

    My dedicate server: Google GCP AMD EPYC 7B12, 2 cores 12G Ram.

    Rebuilding is relatively cheap, as it doesn’t make database changes unless it has to.

    It’s possible your system uses an external cronjob to activate WP Cron. That would explain the slow first index build.

    Try leaving the dashboard All Users page open while building the index. The “building in progress” alert at the top also causes WP Cron to be reinvoked every 15 seconds. The index building should progress more rapidly.
