    Hello support,

because of the fact that I have to change from PHP7.x to PHP8 I have updated the appointment red theme from 1.1.9.2 to 1.3.4 version.

But now the “index-service.php” file does not work any more.
I have used the code in this URL: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-add-shortcodes-in-theme-customizer/
The file “index-service.php” is still there on the server but the content is not visible on the home page any more.

Is there a possibility to fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi

Thanks for contacting to us. Now we have managed service section from our companion plugin. That’t the reason older code doesn’t work.

To add shortcode in service description box, Follow the given below instruction.

1 Find the appointment-service-section.php file located in your webriti-companion plugin folder > >inc>>appointment>>sections folder and find the file.

2 Open the file and replace the code of it with the code mention in this link.

Then Go to appearance >Customizing >>Service settings and add short code in the respective service description field. More help see the snapshot.

Let me know if you have any confusion.

    Thanks & regards

Ok, thanks for the information ??

It would be fine if you cloud permanently implement the ability of using shortcodes in the service section of your companion plugin. Hoepfully I am not the only one using it ??

    Hi @feuerwehrkfurt

Thanks for your suggestion. I will discuss about this with development team and let you update here.
