  • Any search engine automatically indexes all content unless it is specifically blocked to search robots using robots.txt
    Check the url : site.com/robots.txt and see the settings.

    I cannot find the robots.txt file. Is that something which comes with wordpress by default?

    I have the same problem (search is not indexing tags)

    But it’s not the robots.txt file:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Disallow: /wp-includes/
