    Hi,
i have added my sitemap in google webmaster tool. i have used Yoast Seo for generating the site map. 8 pages , 20 posts, 1 category. totally 29 links. the sitemap status is success, but when i use URL inspection tool, just 5 links submitted in sitemap and all the other URLs condition is “indexed, not submitted in sitemap” !!!…
i will appreciate any help to fix that to “indexed and submitted”.

  • Hi,

We would like some more information.

    1. Can you provide a link to the site?

    2. Can you enable the Yoast sitemaps? This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-xml-sitemaps-in-the-wordpress-seo-plugin/

    3. Can you provide an example of a URL that is “…indexed, not submitted in sitemap”?

    4. If you click on the sitemap_index.xml in your Google Search Console, does Google show all the links as having been scanned and indexed?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your attention.
    1- https://novinsonic.com
2- yes, i have enabled yoast sitemap.
3- All of urls except home page have this problem ??
4- yes, google shows 1 category, 7 pages, 21 posts. i can see”success” on status column s google search console sitemap.

    Hi,

Google is confused. We can see all your posts and pages etc in your sitemaps here: https://novinsonic.com/%D9%85%D8%A7%DA%98%D9%88%D9%84-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%B3%D9%88%D9%86%DB%8C%DA%A9/.

Indeed, this URL is even appearing in a Google Search here.

We are not sure why Google is saying “…indexed, not submitted in sitemap” when the URLs are appearing as expected.

    We suggest the following actions:

    1. Clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser. If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

    2. Delete your sitemap in Google. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site. This guide explains more (scroll to the bottom):?https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/183669?hl=en.

    3. Submit the sitemap again. Be sure to submit only sitemap_index.xml and nothing else.?This guide explains more:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/.

    4. Monitor the results to see if the issue resolves.
