    Hi,

Based on that notification ‘indexed, not submitted in sitemap’ this means that the Google spiders found these URLs by other means and not via the sitemap. Googlebot may have found them from internal linking or from other websites. Those pages in that report were discovered without the use of a sitemap and this is not indicative of any issues for your site.

However, upon checking your sitemap, we do see that the referenced URL for the homepage is included in the page sitemap, so the sitemap is working as expected. So there should be no need for concern as this still means that the URL was indeed indexed and is showing up in the search results, it’s just that the way it was discovered was from a different source.

    Hi,

Perhaps you can try to remove and resubmit the sitemap to see if this would help —
    https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/#google-remove

Otherwise, please do try to contact Google on their webmaster forum for more information as we can confirm it is also submitted in the sitemap generated by Yoast SEO — https://support.google.com/webmasters/?hl=en#topic=9128571

    Hi @vijayp4you,

    Thank you for your reply.

Looking at the very first screenshot you shared, we see Referred page: linked to the HTTP version of your homepage. We are not sure where that comes from. We just checked and your HTTP traffic does get redirected to the HTTPS version, so that is just fine. Having said this, we don’t have an answer as to why Google still says the same message. Hopefully, someone on the Google Webmasters forums will be able to help.

for all the sites showing same Referred page: http version only.
that is not the issue i think.
i am also waiting for reply from them.

Thank you for your reply. Please keep us in the loop when you do find anything that might lead to the cause. In any way, your homepage is indexed at this time.
