Hi. I have X categories of FAQs where each category relates to a specific page in my website. In each category i assign different FAQ items.
    The case is:
    1. I do not want google to index the individual short faq Q&As.
    2. I want Google to understand the category faqs I show in a page that relate to the faq category topic as part of the content, so all the page is content optimized.

Should I simply check NoIndex on each faq item or that will block it totally from the end page content for Google?

    Hi channel,

You could do that. It might be easier, though, to just get a plugin that allows you to modify your robots.txt file and just set to not index any post from the “ufaq” post type, or to just manually modify the robots.txt file yourself. I’m not 100% certain, but I believe the Yoast SEO plugin also allows you to do this for custom post types.
