indexing problem

HI,

I have installed wordpress in my client server. there was a index.html as default file. and after installation wordpress there are coming a index.php file. that is fine. I want to keep both files(index.php, index.html) their. But when any one type https://example.com/index.php, then it should be show the default wordpress index content. and when any one type https://example.com/index.html, then it should be my static content.

So how to solve it? I have tried it, but it return in the default page as index.html.

Please help me if any one one can solve it.
