Hello, I managed to index all of my posts (over 10.000) using the WP CLI command as you suggested, but the process it’s taking too long to be completed. I left our server running the index command for 3 days and I reached the 15%. Can we speed it up some way?

Also, the server is running too slow with 100% CPU because I can’t stop the automatic indexing process on WordPress while the server runs the CLI one. It would be possible to stop it?

  • hi @zxakbg,

Thanks for your message. We’re sorry for slowing down your site. Without knowing anything about your website and hosting, 15% in 3 days sounds problematic, even for a website with 10.000 posts.

Since we don’t have access to your website nor can’t change its configuration, we think you’d be helped best by reaching out to your web host. They have all the information and can probably help you determine why things are so extremely slow and resource heavy.

If you can’t figure it out with them, please share all the information you can publicly share in this thread, and I’ll help you look into this.
