I’m using Elvyre theme with Content Maker editor and Yeost SEO. By default Content Maker tags all content within shortcodes so that this is not visible to Yeost which reports “readability analysis = Not enough content”.

To make content visible I have created a Relevanssi index with no success. I have unset the expand shortcodes option as suggested again with no success.

I suspect that I’m making an elementary error somewhere. But which one.

    Thanks for any help.

Well, for starters Relevanssi has nothing to do with how the content is visible for Yoast SEO. If the content is in custom fields and displayed through short codes, you just won’t be able to use the Yoast content analysis, because that requires the content to be in the actual post content field.

Relevanssi can index your content, which makes it possible to search for the shortcode content. That doesn’t help Yoast SEO access it.

Thanks for your prompt update. To be honest I was struggling to see how Relevanssi could help but I was strongly advised that this was the case.
