    Hi,
    I really hope you could help me. I have a wordpress site (add-on domain, if it matters). The problem is, that index.php waits always for 3 seconds, before starting loading (https://www.domain.com/index.php). I have the same script, the same version, the same theme at my main domain – there are no problems. I use WP Supercache, if it matters. I’ve tried to switch it off, but to no result.. I’ve tried deleting .htaccess file, but to no result. Please, help me!

    Do you have something similar to the following in an index.html, or other index page?

    <meta HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="3; url=https://www.yourdomain.com/index.php">

    If you do, then it is running a redirect which takes 3 seconds before it loads, in– content=”3;

    Could it be some plugin that you have installed and loads an external javascript?

    Would be helpful to know the address of your blog.

    And one more interesting thing: if I empty the cache and go to the home page, it loads for less than a second. But if I edit a post or make a new posting and then go to the home page, then it loads for 3-4 seconds

    Here is a new topic that’s been deleted.. it’s a comparison with my other site:

    Hi all, I’ve tried replying in my old topic, https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/216476?replies=4 , but my answer gets accepted as spam.

    Peculiar enough, my page loads only after 3 seconds of waiting. And that is only the https://www.domain.com/index.php page… not any of the other pages of the blog.

    The strangest thing. I have a second blog, where I think all the plugins and skins etc. are the same. But there, I don’t have any problems.

    To be concrete: the site https://www.slusham.com/ loads without any problems (as you can see in the source, <!– Dynamic Page Served (once) in 0.795 seconds –> ).

    While, the second page, which is an add-on domain to the same server, ALWAYS loads with these 3 seconds of delay, and the page is: https://www.ekrana.info/ (in the source: <!– Dynamic Page Served (once) in 3.753 seconds –> ).

    Once the page is cached by WP Super cache, there is no problem. But EACH AND EVERY TIME I update the blog (which is often), the page blocks for 3 seconds… compare the 2 pages.. they are just the same!! Why is it so??

    Please help!

    As it seems no one could help in this section, so could I kindly ask a moderator to move the topic to the WP-Advanced section? I think I’ve described quite well my problem, plus I’ve put a video… I see a question “The site is too slow or get “stopped” there, it’ s a similar issue… really hope someone could help me ??

    how about you do this:

    employ the most basic of troubleshooting skills, and disable plugins (in groups at first) to see if that helps. Once it improves, narrow things down more, by adding plugins back, until it slows down or errors, or whatever.

    Eventually, if its a plugin, you will figure it out.

    Providing a list of plugins is nice, but no-one is going to install all of those and go through that process for you. You can do it, you have the plugins right there.

    Thread Starter musiclover-bg

    (@musiclover-bg)

    Well, OK, but the problem is, once you uninstall a plugin, you miss all the configurations. I thought it could be figured out in some other way, but if you say so…

    Thread Starter musiclover-bg

    (@musiclover-bg)

    One more thing: I’ve copied the index.php file in the main directory (public_html) as index1.php – https://www.ekrana.info/index1.php – then the page loads faster (and no publications are pulled out) . But if I put an empty file for home.php, then it yet again loads slowly (even though there are no articles in that case too). How come that is so?

    And yet one more thing… I have EXACTLY the same plugins in my other site I’ve listed. But there are no problems. I have even more plugins there, plus all the listed here, latest versions…

    Thread Starter musiclover-bg

    (@musiclover-bg)

    The most interesting for me is the following: if I delete the cache and then go to the https://www.domain.com/index.php page, it loads for less than a second. If I update an article or post a new one, then go to the index (without deleting the cache), it is delayed for 3 seconds. If I disable WP Supercache, the situation remains the same…

    This is an add-on domain. The main domain at the same server has the same plugins, tha same theme and the same version of WordPress. There is no problem.

    Thread Starter musiclover-bg

    (@musiclover-bg)

    Up once again…
