index.php mixup

    trying to get my categories and comments to work, i’ve mixed up the various index.phps. now i’ve lost the blog at https://www.realnewyorkersknow.com

    i’m on yahoo hosting, did not install WP, have copy of the WP install on my local drive.

    can someone, please, help me sort out which index.php is which?

    You have lost the initial < in index.php in the root of your wordpress install..

    thank you, that is now repaired – still no blog. template cacheing turned off, caches in browsers cleared. Must be an additional screw up. ideas?

    my blog displays at this URL https://realnewyorkersknow.com/blog/index.php
    but not at https://realnewyorkersknow.com/

    I reverted an index.php to its default in the top level of my host directory, above WP blog directory to redirect to the blog’s index.php and the site displays. So, this issue is resolved — on to other problems.
