    trying to change my permalink settings but the only option that works is the default option unless i want to have – /index.php/ in the mix.

    my blog is at site.com/blog/

    i would like my permalink to be site.com/blog/postname but the best i can get is site.com/blog/index.php/postname

    how do i fix this? i searched and couldnt find this issue on the 3.0.1 software so im not sure how to fix it.

  • either you are on a windows server – in which case that’s the best you can do or your host doesn’t have mod_rewrite turned on
