Please correct me if I’m wrong on this, as I just started testing donor_wall …

If Joe donates $50 to Form 123 on October 1, NOT anonymously, and leaves a comment “good luck in this Sally” and later Joe (same dude) donates $25 to Form 123 (same campaign) on October 4 (again, NOT anonymously) and leaves another comment “best wishes here Susie” (different person), it seems as though Joe’s two distinct donations on the donor_wall are 1) combined, 2) listed as $75, 3) show only one date, and 4) have only the last comment (which is likely to make Sally feel slighted). ??

    Is this expected result?

It would seem that those should be two different displays on the donor wall. Maybe if we didn’t want the entire form’s donor_wall to be overrun with one person, we could have a limit of only displaying the most_recent=3 or something. But it seems as though both those donations and importantly both those comments should display individually.

Is there a way to make that happen?

    Thanks.

    HI there,

We’ve been working on several related issues with both the Donor Wall and donor comments. We just replicated this issue as you describe it and we’ll be getting that resolved in Give version 2.3 which should be released within the next week or so. Stay tuned, and thanks for reaching out about this issue.
