Hi Frank, read of your plugin on wptavern – looks good/great.

However, I’ve tested lots of plugins to try and achieve different things and I don’t network activate these I just activate and deactivate per site so I was wanting to use your plugin to show which plugins were not active at all so I could delete these.

I know I have some plugins active on just some blogs and not others and some likely not activated anywhere (I’ve 40 plugins). For example: Widgets on Pages. However on my install with your plugin I only get ‘Not Activated’ or ‘Network Activated’ with no individual blog specified for plugins that are definitely active. I’ve deactivated likely conflicting plugins but it makes no difference.

Is it possible that you only register newly activated plugins and that plugins already activated for a particular blog won’t be ‘identified’?

I just checked the ‘themes’ listing and it’s the same. All themes are presented as ‘Not Activated’. I’m only running 10 sites BUT I’m very definitely using 3/4 different and active themes.

    Thanks for the praise.

To your questions. The plugin check each plugin, which is viewable in the plugin list. It is only possible to add a filter, that you cna filter via custom hook. But I don’t see a benefit, that is not possible to see each plugin, in which site is it active.

Maybe it is a idea, that we add a select menu on the top of the list for the different sites, but I’m not very interest to this feature. I think it is easier to switch in each site and check the plugin list in each site.

Your problem with themes and plugins is not clear for me. I can’t retrace this in different installs, it works always and list the sites to each theme and plugin in the network view.
No teasy to retrace. Maybe you can deactivate all other plugin for a first tests and active new.

Hi Frank, I didn’t have time to look at it again until just now. Although I’ve not changed anything, it’s now working. The specific sites are being listed showing which sites each plugin is activated on. I’ve no idea why it’s working now, very odd.

Thanks for the feedback, maybe a cache on back end? But I will resolved the issue here. Thanks for feedback.

Frank, I don’t have any cache plugins going on in the backend, but I’m still having the same problem. I’m not seeing where all the settings are. Any ideas as to what’s going on?

    Hi Brad,
how many sites, plugins, themes, do you have inside the network?
Is it possible to get access to the backend, maybe to debug this?

Eh… only a couple. I found wpskill was available, so I bought it. At the moment, it’s a ‘sandbox’ if-you-will. I put about 4 different sites in there, and added two or three themes. Some have “their own” plugins, some are just standard wp.org themes.
Again, it’s a bit of a ‘sandbox’ so…. Sure. Jump on in!

Now, how do I send you credentials?
