individualized styling, row/column background shading, and placeholders

    if you look under the Applications link on my header, you’ll see 4 columns and an extra link in the left column, Application Videos.

    this was originally 3 columns with the Application Videos on the bottom. i wanted to put a placeholder into that first column so Application Videos would be centered in the bottom.

    also, i’d like to be able to change the color on that particular item so it stands out a bit more. that could be through the individual menu item, or by highlighting the row by changing the background, which leads me to the last thing.

    under Capabilities and Markets, i’d love to be able to highlight the top level nav rows with a soft background. i could also see shading alternate columns.

    i realize these things may or may not be possible, using the wp menu. just wondering…

    Hi mychiefs,

    The only way I can think to align that last item in the center is to add a new menu item to the menu just above it, and enable “Hide Text” on it (to make it invisible). Not very nice but it should push that last item over 1 column.

    Custom Styling per menu item is in the Pro version, it would let you highlight certain items ??
