Individually enable featured image/video per post

    Is there away to individually enable/disable featured image per post without installing a plugin?

    Using a plugin has an unwanted effect on the other parts of the theme.

    You can count this as a feature suggestion but it would be great if there is a way for us to do this on the current version of the theme.

    Would you want the post’s Featured Image displayed on only the blog or only the post? Since each post has a Featured Image option, it is already possible to add Featured Images for individual posts.

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

    I’m talking about the ability to display or not to display a featured image on individual post. I know about the settings on Customizer but that’s for the whole blog and a blanket setting for individual posts.

    For example, I’m in the “Add New Post” screen.. then I will see an option either on the right or bottom of the editor an option that I can select to show or hide featured image. I tried using the Hide Featured Image plugin but since it’s not tested on the latest version of WP and it conflicts the “More from…” section, I rather not use it and see if you there the theme as a similar option.

    So I guess this is more of a feature suggestion than anything else.
