    Hi,

I have your plugin active on 2 websites and on both my provider sent me a warning saying that the below file is infected. How can I verify if it’s true or if it’s a false positive? Thanks for your help.

    wp-content/plugins/popup-builder/public/views/emailTemplates/takeReviewAfterSubscribe.html

  • There is a security problem at the moment waiting on a reply still but seems to be a problem with CSV file import, I would advise you to install wordfence security plugin as this will warn you if any files have been modified and will replace with original files or delete any that doesn’t match the plugin respository if needed.

    Hi jasonmac_75,

thanks for your fast reply. I already have wordfence security plugin free version installed and active on both websites. Do I have to check a specific setting in order to have it warn me if any files have been modified and in order for it to replace with original files or delete any that doesn’t match the plugin?

    Thanks

Just make sure you have the rules enabled for ie Malicious File Upload : SQL Injection, xss XSS: Cross Site Scripting etc found under ‘all options’ and enable alerts so it sends you warning before your provider does, if there is a code change with the popup builder file takeReviewAfterSubscribe.html then it should replace it with the original file.
