Hi, I can’t find an option to turn on Infinite loop sliding. Am I just missing this or is this feature missing? It’d be great to toggle infinite loop sliding on/off within the block settings.

    Thank you!

Hi, to show infinite loop option you have to add more than 1 slider and turn on center mode option.

Hi, thanks for you reply. I managed to show the infinite loop option, but I notices a strange and unexpected behaviour:

The option only shows when I choose more than one slide to show at a time (even though this option has nothing to do with that).

The workaround: I can chose a number >1 for slides to show, toggle infinite loop on, and then again choose one slide to show at a time. Even though the option for infinite loop disappears, it stays switched on.

But a new problem occured: Switching the infinite loop option on and choose only one slide to show at a time, it displays not only one slide, but also a narrow bit of the previous and next slide.

Expected behaviour: I want to show only one slide at a time, but switch on infinite loop. Basicly the first example on the github page of slick https://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/

    Thanks again

Hi, I have updated the plugin. Please check and test again.

Hi Kadim, thank you for your work and help, I really appreciate it!

I’ve just installed the update to test again: The option for infinite loop now shows in the block settings, perfect!

But switching on infinite loop while choosing only one slide to show at a time still breaks the displayed size of the slide. Instead of showing one slide full size, it shows a smaller version of the slide and a narrow bit of the previous and next slide. It would be great to toggle infinite loop on/off without affecting the way the slides are displayed. If that helps: I only put single image blocks with a fixed aspect ratio of 16:9 inside the slider item block.

Thanks again and keep up the good work!

It looks like the center mode option is still selected. Please make sure the center mode option is disabled.

If possible, send a screenshot or demo page.

Hi Kadim, I didn’t select center mode, this option also doesn’t show with only one slide to show at a time. Even if I choose more than one slide to show, center mode is switched off.

I’ve installed the plugin on a fresh and completely clean install of wordpress (no other plugins, theme twenty-four, no custom css) to test and show the problem: https://test.velofux.de/slider-test/

The only difference between the two sliders is the option infinite loop: first slider is off, second is switched on. Apart from that they are exact duplicates.

    <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Now I’ve noticed another problem: </span>

There is a probelm with a width of the browser window between 600px and 1024px (first two breakpoints):

    • with infinite loop switched off, all slides apart from the first one are empty and don’t show at all,
    • with infite loop switched on, the order of the slides gets mixed up, but at least they show up

    Hi,

I have fixed the center mode problem. But when I tested to second issue, there was no problem.

Please update the plugin and test again.

    Thanks for your attention.

Hi, great work, the infinite loop option works for me now as expected. Thank you!

The second issue seems to be fine with infinite loop swichted on. But without infinite loop all slides except the first one still appear empty with the window width between 600 and 1024px. You can check on my test site: https://test.velofux.de/test-2/

Screenshot of test page, the upper slider appears empty

Hi, this is a common error related with slick slider. If infinite loop disabled, some slides appear empty. I searched for this problem but couldn’t find a definitive solution. I will try to solve this problem. You can enable infinite loop if this is convenient for you. Thanks.
