infinite scroll not working as expected when clicking browser back button

    Hi,
    Thanks for the Jetpack multi purpose plugin. I have an issue with Infinite scroll function. Please help.

    When I click infinite scroll button more posts are loading and URL get updated https://www.example.com/page/2 etc. Then if I click on any post and then click browser back button then page URL will be url of the last section I scrolled. Here https://www.example.com//page/2 . But it will not show the post of the second section. So in final there will be missing of some posts from the list. If choose a post from last section ( ../page/7/ ), then I cannot see Infinite scroll button and posts showing will be first section. So total of only first 6 posts will be show there. Can anyone please help.

    Hi –

    When I click on discover more communities and scroll down and back up through those pages the link in my browser changes appropriately for my place on the page.

    Then, I selected one of the communities at random. After viewing that page, I select the back arrow in my browser and am brought back to the communities from the very beginning. It does not bring me back to page 3, for example, if that’s where the selected community was located. Is this what you’re also experiencing?

    There is really no fix for that, as that’s pretty much the intended operation of Infinite Scroll.

    Infinite Scroll turns your site into one big never-ending Page 1, so when you hit the back button, you go back to Page 1.
