• Hello… I run a community website for our village and am looking to revamp some of our pages to use Kadence Blocks.. I’ve discovered a problem with the display of the ‘Learn
More’ button when an Info block is placed within a row that’s within a tabs block. I’ve created a page that shows the issue. While each info block has exactly the same styling you can see that the ‘Learn More’ button within the tabs block is displayed incorrectly. Can you please suggest how this can be fixed? I’ve tried viewing the page with Vivaldi/Bing on a PC and Safari on iPad/iPhone all with the same result…

Also can the ‘Learn More’ text be changed somewhere?

Thanks in advance for your help….

    Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m not able to replicate this. When you click on the actual button you can add new text. Are you able to do that for the buttons added into the tabs?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hi Hannah,
Thanks for your quick reply.. The issue seems to occurs when the page is published and displayed. If you view the page within the editor then it all looks fine.. It’s as if the size of the ‘Learn More’ button has somehow been scaled down dramatically.. As you can see I set the ‘Learn More’ button background colours to change on hover to check the response..I have a couple of screen shots that show the difference between the editor view and the published view but can’t see where to upload them to you..
    Cheers!

    Hi Richard,
You can upload screenshots using this: https://imgbb.com/
Have you manually added text to the button? So it’s not just the placeholder text?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hi Hannah
Here are the links to the screenshots:

    Editor view: https://ibb.co/TmfhDQM
    Publish view: https://ibb.co/NVw4G5m

You may just be able to see that on the editor view the ‘Learn More’ boxes are slightly greyed out. Not sure if this is relevant?

As for manually changing the button text, that was my second question in the 1st post above…How is this done as I can’t see any guidance in the user docs?
    Thanks!

    Hi Hannah,
Just discovered this problem again when building another page. If I create an info block and adjust all the settings as required (including ‘learn more’ ) then copy/paste to a new block everything including the ‘learn more’ is copied across and all is fine. However, if I create the second block then select copy/paste style this results in the slightly greyed our ‘learn more’ button that doesn’t display when viewed. It would seem the problem occurs when using copy/paste style as opposed to copy/paste?
    Cheers!

    Hi Richard,

The Learn More button is slightly grayed out if it only displays a placeholder and not actual text.

    Here’s a screen recording: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gueEJRn

Kindly type anything in the button and see if the description would be visible on the front end.

Let us know how it goes.

    Kind regards,
