Info gathering (need help bad)

This may a heck of a lot to ask.
I was asked to gather information for a site. They want me to put the “category”, “sub-category” “date published”, “writer” and “word count” of each of their articles into an excel spread sheet. There are over 970 articles posted. Aside from looking at each article one by one in Word Press to gather the information is there a widget or a process that I can use to help me with this?
