Hey, so basically I’m wondering if there is some plugin, sortof like firebug, where you can go in from the frontend and see what template a given post or page is using, what line in the php code it corresponds to etc. anyone know of such a thing?

  • Not that I know of but you can find an overview of the template hierarchy in Theme_Development.

yeah thanks, I did know that just wondering or hoping there may be such a thing out there.

(would be useful for beginners like me, and to be able to see when a page defaults to another template, and what php is generating a given block of html etc.)
