I am using VFB 2.7.1 and WP 3.5.1

See: https://www.peoplescreditofbatonrouge.com/apply-for-a-loan/ and the Information field at the top, and the “General Disclosure” section at the bottom I want included in the email.

The instructions field and the field descriptions are not included as part of the email. They are used to display extra information on the form itself.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. You support is fantastic…

What would be the best way for me to include some generic text in the email sent from the form?

ok. I had to ‘quick’ hack it, but it works for now.

In email.php I added the field_description to the fields array, created a case for ‘instructions’ and am displaying it like the section and fieldsets in my email output. It’s ugly, but it satisfies my customers requirement (and mine to be done by today.)

Unfortunately, this is not update safe.

It would be nice during form creation to have an option to display the description text in the email form. I looked at the pro version and it appears that there is not an option like this either. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

Regardless, I’m donating cause I want Matthew to keep working on this fantastic plug-in.

Stuff like that is what hooks are for ??

I will have to look into “hooks” Im not sure what you are referring to or if its a wp thing. This was my first wp site I have worked on, and your plugin was very easy. Wish I had it years ago.

I sent a donation. thank you.
