Information missing

  • Hello,

    After restoring a backup from my database (cause I reinstalled WP), a lot of information is missing in users names and entries.

    It seems that there is a problem with written accents. For example, there is a user called “David Fernández”, so now it only appears “David Fern”. And this happens with every written accents in the site.

    Any help? Thank you

    Have you checked the SQL dump file to make sure the data is in the backup?

    Yes, I open the file in Notepad and all the data is there, including written accents.

    I don’t know if I’m making a mistake uploading the backup, or there’s a codification issue, or anything else…

    Have you tried restoring the SQL dump using PHPMyAdmin or another MySQL client?
