Loving this plugin and importing is all working great EXCEPT for importing post_date. I have a text string in one of the csv columns in the following format – length is 19 chars using LEN() – definitely a text string:

    2012-10-25 17:02:09 (for example)

The plugin Preview shows this field between two other fields as:

    Guide.,2012-10-25 17:02:09,pana

The post imports fine, but the post_date keeps showing up as Nov 29, 1999 17:00 for some unknown reason (this date comes up regardless of the input date – my guess is the 17:00 is 00:00 GMT because I am using GMT-7 but I have no idea about the date).

I’ve tried a variety of things to try to make this work, but nothing has worked so far. I’m wondering if it might be a bug in the software because I successfully imported the same date/time format using another plugin.

Would very much appreciate a solution ASAP – it’s the ONLY thing holding me back with this project. Thanks so much!

this issue has already been resolved in another topic. with version >=2.8.2 date must be provided for the Post Date predefined mapping as the following format: “20130420 16:20:00”
