Inherit capabilities of parent link category when using Hierarchical Link cat..

Hi and thanks for this very useful plugin.

I am managing a multi-author blog and using the Hierarchical Link Categories plugin to allow each auhor to have their own list of links and categorize their specific lists even further.

I have then configured the Role Scoper to only allow users access to their own specific link categories and that is working great thanks to your plugin. But in order for them to be able to see and utilise the link sub-categories they create I need the new link sub-categories they create to inherit capabilities of their parent link category.

Can this be made possible? This is how the capabilites of normal post categories work, right?
