Inherit post status and IDs

  • Whenever a new post or page is created, in all situations I have worked with (no revisions, attachments or not, zero plugins or not, 2015 theme or not, etc.) wp_posts contains rows with inherit post_status “taking” IDs.

    I am working on a project using Advanced Custom Fields on a *new install* with only ACF. I want to know if something of a predictability is possible in page IDs?
    That is to import existing content with csv importers and know that I can have some control over page IDs (for example the csv importer lets me specify post_id and I want make sure to use this importer feature)

    Is this even possible?
