Initial login troubles

  • I just set up and installed WordPress and I was given the initial login and password but when I put it in i get the following:

    What exactly does that mean?

  • Hi Newt,
    It sounds like you have a newline on the end of wp-config.php. It should not be there and will cause this error.

    Whoa! that’s insane that one blank line would cause that much hassel. Thanks! I edited wp-config.php and took out that new line and reuploaded it and it works now. Thanks!
    If only I knew where you lived I’d have to buy you a beer…
