• Hi guys,

I am trying to install ajax inline comments on my site https://www.AliphAurMeem.com/blog. I downloaded and installed the Ajaxed WordPress, and configured it to display the show/hide comments on my main page. However, I don’t like the way the comments appear themselves (I got them to use my theme’s style; I wasn’t a big fan of AWP’s styling either).

I have seen sites where it’s just a basic white textbox with scroll bars, and the comments appear as

Author: Blah blah blah … (Time)

and then there is a link for adding your own text message, etc.

What’s the easiest way to accomplish that? Do I need to modify my comments.php or edit the CSS? I don’t like the cluttered way it shows the comments. I just like a simple textbox with scrollbars approach, kinda like this:

Also, I noticed that the show/hide functionality is kind of slow. Are there any other plugins that are better for this thing? I’m only interested in the inline comments feature and don’t need the whole site AJAX’ed.
