• Hello,

Just updated from 1.18.2 to 1.19.0 and the share buttons are now appearing both in header area of my WooCommerce product archive (main shop page) as well as on each individual product page (above the add to cart button). This happens when Inline Content is active under the Toolkit. I also made sure to only have “post” checked under Post Type Display Settings.

    Currently Running:
    WooCommerce 5.4.1
    WordPress 5.7.2

If you need more info, please let me know, thanks!

    – Derek

  • Hey Derek,

Thanks so much for reaching out! We’ve made some changes to Grow Social so it’s a bit more compatible with WooCommerce sites in the previous release but it looks like during that process the functionality of “Post Type Display Settings” for Product post types is being ignored.

We have a fix planned for one of our next releases of Grow Social but if you’d like feel free to send over a couple of example pages where you’re seeing those buttons appear and I can send over some CSS that should be able to hide those buttons at least until the next release happens!

    Hi,
I can also confirm the issue. When the inline social icon is enabled and it is only selected to shows up for “Posts” it is also being whon on WooCommerce product archive pages and single product pages even though it’s not enabled to show on there.
I’ve reverted the plugin update back to v1.18.2 and things are good.

Looking forward to the update with the bug fixes.

    Hey @isaumya,

Thanks so much for reaching out and letting us know! I think rolling back is definitely a viable option here until we can get that release out. We do have plans to get this corrected in a future release so keep an eye out for that. ??
