Inline Uploading Revisions

  • I’d like to get into the inline uploading file and change a couple of things.

    1. The suffix, I’d like to change to ‘-thumb’ instad of
    ‘.thumbnail’

    2. The minimum height to 100px.

    How can I do this?

  • do some searching here for previous threads on the same or related topics is probably the place to start. For instance, if you click on “thumbnails” up there in your tags box you’ll find a ton of posts.

    The trick is that you’ll be hacking “core” WP code, so when the next release/patch/upgrade comes out you’ll need to do your hacking again.

    Or, you could search here for discussions on alternate image uploader plugins and try going that route instead.

    I did search, which is what brought me to post the question. I saw a lot of plugins – but why use a plugin when the tool is already there? Just needs a little mod, that’s all.

    Yes, I’m seeing a lot of unresolved help requests for thumbnail image resizing and output.

    Help would be appreciated. ??
