    Hey guys,

i am pretty desperate as i can’t find my mistake. Several days ago i noticed that the text “Sign Up For Our Newsletter” at the checkout page wasn’t displayed anymore, the checkbox still was. After updating everything and not finding the mistake in the setting the checkbox was gone too and i noticed that the following code is just greyed out (When in Firefox Dev) when i look into the code. How can i get the plugin to show that again?

    Best,

    Johannes

    <p class="form-row form-row-wide mailchimp-newsletter"><label for="mailchimp_woocommerce_newsletter" class="woocommerce-form__label woocommerce-form__label-for-checkbox inline"><input class="woocommerce-form__input woocommerce-form__input-checkbox input-checkbox" id="mailchimp_woocommerce_newsletter" type="checkbox" name="mailchimp_woocommerce_newsletter" value="1" checked="checked"> <span>Sign up for our newsletter</span></label></p>

    Hi @klappradfahrer,

The problem of the checkbox not being displayed in your WooCommerce store could be caused by a theme or plugin conflict, or an issue with caching. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Create a staging environment that replicates your live site.
    2. Temporarily deactivate other plugins to check if there is a conflict.
    3. Switch to a default WordPress theme to see if the issue persists.

Be sure to update to the latest version of the plugin (3.1) and follow these steps. It should help you identify and resolve the issue with the checkbox not being displayed in Woo. If not, please let us know and we’ll be glad to troubleshoot further.

    Hi @klappradfahrer,

Thank you for running the suggested tests and narrowing down the problem to a conflict with the ‘Rebellion’ theme. It’s always a good step to check if the issue remains when you switch to a default WordPress theme.

At this point, it appears that there’s a compatibility issue between our plugin and the Rebellion theme. The theme might have some customizations or settings that are interfering with our plugin. Here’s what we can do next:

    1. Theme Settings: Review the settings of the Rebellion theme, especially those related to the checkout page. There might be an option or setting that could be conflicting with our plugin.
    2. Theme Updates: Ensure the Rebellion theme is updated to its latest version. Developers often release updates to fix bugs and compatibility issues.
    3. Contact Theme Developer: If the issue persists, you might want to reach out to the Rebellion theme developers and ask for assistance. They should have a more in-depth knowledge about the theme and might be able to provide a solution or workaround. When you contact them, mention the exact issue and the tests you’ve done to isolate it. They might need this information to help you out.
    4. Customization: If all else fails, consider hiring a developer to make the necessary adjustments. Sometimes, themes and plugins need a little custom tweaking to play nicely together.

Remember, it’s best to perform these actions on a staging environment to avoid disrupting your live site. Let us know how it goes, and we’ll be here to assist further if needed.
