    Hi,

I ran our website through an online accessibility checker (https://achecker.ca/checker/index.php) and it keeps coming back with the following errors:

Check 213: input element, type of “text”, has no text in label.

Repair: Add text to the input element’s associated label that describes the purpose or function of the control.

    Error Line 2019, Column 126:
    <input id=”search-text-top” type=”text” tabindex=”1″ name=”s” class=”search” placeholder=”Type your …(logo-image)

Can someone guide me as to where I would find this code to even fix it? Its not in code I’ve written and is most likely embedded in the site. This error appears three times.

Is this something you can help with or should I go to the theme developers?

    Thanks.

  • Given the markup you’ve provided above, it does look like it could be part of your theme. I’d suggest contacting the theme developers and asking them about it.
