Input field only for variation

Thank you for providing us the plugin link for reference.

Currently, it is not possible to add the custom fields only for certain variations of the products from our plugin.

But, you can add the custom input fields only to specific products using the ‘Per Product’ feature.

When ‘Product Input Fields – per Product’ option is enabled, then the custom input fields can be added/hidden at per product level.

Then you will need to tick the ‘Enable/Disable’ checkbox which will allow adding the custom field for that product. The mentioned setting will be present under each ‘Product Input Field #’ metabox. I am attaching a screenshot for your reference: https://prnt.sc/npdw7a

So, that way you can enable/disable the custom input fields for specific products.

Thank you for your answer, but I was already using the ‘per product’ feature. What I need is a ‘per variation’ feature like the plugin I mentioned, or an easy way to define when a field is hidden/shown when a certain variation is selected inside the ‘Product Input Field #’ metabox.

Thank you for explaining your requirements. Now, I understood your requirement which you want to achieve.

Currently, it is not possible to hide/show the custom input fields based on the selected variation inside the ‘Product Input Field #’ metabox.

However, I shall add this enhancement to our Github repository. Our developer colleagues will check on it and decide whether we can include it in our core plugin or not.
