I have a product bundle where customers can choose up to 6 items they prefer. However, I want them to have the option to select only the items they desire. Currently, the plugin allows customers to set the quantity of each item to zero if they do not want it, which is a new feature. However, there seems to be an issue. When customers visit the product page, they see that initially, every item has a quantity value of ‘1,’ which can be confusing. Additionally, the quantity of ‘1’ does not affect the final cost calculation of the bundle within the system. Could you please review and address this matter?

    Hi Joanna,

I checked your subproducts and all of them have the Min quantity set to 1. Though you have set the default quantity to 0 in the backend, but when you configure the min quantity to 1, it will change the default quantity to 1 in the frontend so satisfy the quantity limits you have set. That’s why the issue occured.

You should change the min to 0 for them and configure a Min/Max in the Quantity limit boxes under for all items inside your smart bundles. This will make sure customers choose enough unit of items for the order.

You can read more in our guide here: https://doc.wpclever.net/woosb/quantity-settings/custom-quantity/

    Best regards.

    Hello Janilyn,

I’ve attempted the solution you suggested, but unfortunately, it didn’t resolve the issue. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference: https://snipboard.io/xjzsDG.jpg. I’ve also tried switching themes and deactivating plugins, but it appears to be related to the bundle plugin itself.

Looking forward to your further guidance on resolving this matter.

    Best regards, Joanna.

    Hi Joanna Gil,

I checked your products again today. You have changed some setings.

At first, when loading the bundle page, the default quantity of all subitems was 0: https://app.screencast.com/kmBzUwnHwbAwV.

Then all the quantities changed to 1 when the page was loaded. It seems that there is some”thing overriding the settings. I checked it further, your products had the “Sold Individually” option turned on. That might be the reason: https://app.screencast.com/s5Fu6qe0kpUqt.

The Sold Individually option is to set the default quantity of all products to always 1, even when changing the quantity input, all items with Sold Individually turned on will be changed back to 1 on the cart page as well.

You will need to disable this Sold Invididually option for all the subproducts as well as the main bundle to make the Custom quantity and quantity rules work. You can also open the Inventory tab to uncheck the option manually.

    Best regards.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation regarding this matter.

After thoroughly investigating, I’ve confirmed that all the products included in the bundle have been meticulously reviewed, and none of them are set to be sold individually.

    See it here: https://snipboard.io/rEMWaf.jpg

I carefully examined the screenshot you provided and attempted to locate the specific code you mentioned. However, as it appears to be related to Elementor, I took the initiative to deactivate Elementor, LA-Studio Element Kit for Elementor, and even change the theme. Despite these efforts, I regret to inform you that the issue persists.

Prior to this, I conducted extensive testing with nearly all plugins deactivated, yet the issue persisted unabated.

In light of these findings, could you kindly create a mock page to serve as a simulator? This will enable us to assess whether the plugin functions flawlessly under different conditions. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

    Best regards, Joanna Gil.
