• Hello dear, how are you?I hope everyone is okay, because I’m not.I’m facing a surreal problem on a website. I believe I followed all good practices to try to identify the problem. but nothing worked. I already deactivated all the plugins, I already changed the theme (default theme), checked the php.ini or .htaccess configuration (apparently nothing unusual).

    The problem:
The site is hosted on a dedicated server with Apache and PHP 8.0.Apache Version
    2.4.57
    MySQL Version
    8.0.33
    Architecture
    x86_64
    Operating System
    linux
The site is behaving in a way that I consider unusual, because I had never seen this problem before.

    The problem is the following

    1) The site loads perfectly on some computers, but on other computers it loads disfigured and giving several errors:

Errors:Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

    2) Our computers on the site have this error, the site goes back to normal if I empty the web browser cache 2 or 3 times.

2.1 (but this problem always comes back).

2.2 (If I empty the web browser cache 2 or 3 times the problem comes back). That is, emptying the browser’s cache is not the solution to the problem.3) Apparently the SSL is normal.4) the file paths are correct. Because if I navigate to the path the files are there.

    Help!
    I suspect it’s a server configuration problem.

I made a complete copy of the site and uploaded this backup to a server at Hetzner on a test subdomain. On this test server the site is working normally on all browsers and computers without exception (I even sent the subdomain URL to the users who reported the problem to test and the site loaded normally on their computer).NOTE: I am not free to change this server site on my own (I have to face a bureaucracy that can take weeks

    :(
I don’t know what else to do. If someone with experience can give me a light, I would be very happy.Thank you all.

Working on some computers but not others, and a clone hosted elsewhere working 100% indicates almost surely that the issue is with the one particular server and not an issue with the WP installation itself. The inconsistent behavior makes me think the server is either overloaded, or the server resources allocated to your site have been exceeded. You should be able to check resource utilization on your hosting account’s cPanel. You’ll likely need your host’s assistance to resolve server issues.

If they are also unable to pinpoint the problem, perhaps they could move your site to a different server. A different server has often resolved mysterious problems when I’ve encountered them in the past.
