When I run a test on why no padlockt the following message:
    Mixed Content – Errors
Soft Failure An image with an insecure url of “https://qb9.762.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/jean-philippe-delberghe-660138-unsplash.jpg” was loaded on line: 1458 of https://www.uniquebabyquiltboutique.com/.
This URL will need to be updated to use a secure URL for your padlock to return.

I have loaded all the suggested plugings, but I still get the error. I have no idea how to get into the custom CSS area that some peope have suggested. My site is not showing up when people try to access it, so I am losing business.

Can someone give me specific directions on how to fix this — where to look, etc? I ran Better Search and Replace, Really SImple SSL, and every SSL plug in I could find in the forums. I see that some people are editing php, but I don’t know where to look to find that. HELP!!!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @nubiesan ,

I’m getting an “Access Denied” message when I try to view your site.

Have you tried to edit your page using your visual editor, find the image(s) that have https://, remove them, then re-add them? You can manually update the URL (i.e. change https:// to https://) for the image(s) using the text mode editor too. Sometimes manually editing the code is faster.

    Good luck!

The error you posted here is a mixed content error. While browsers will show a warning about this, it should not prevent your visitors from seeing your site. Only the image will not show up.

The URL in your warning is from a temporary URL from Godaddy, probably a leftover from the development phase. This URL does not support SSL, so cannot load when your site is on SSL.

The solution is to download this image, then upload it to your own site, so the URL starts with your own domain instead of this temp domain. As your own domain does support SSL, this will fix the issue.
