Insert a picture

    I have tried and tried to insert a simple picture onto one of my pages and I keep getting the following message:

    Error fish021414.docx Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.

    This has happened before. Am I doing something wrong…is there a setting I need to change? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • You’re trying to add a .DOCX file, which is a document — not an image.

    You are trying to upload a .DOCX file, is the picture in a .DOCX file?

    What did you create the image in? Like the other two said, it looks like you’re trying to upload a Microsoft Word document as an image, but those are two different things. If you make the image in something like Picasa, Gimp, Inkscape, etc., it’ll be a lot easier for you.
