• Hi,

I’ve been trying to insert the all in one calendar on a website using the lush template.
I’ve managed inserting it in a new dedicated page, but I would also like it to appear on my homepage (in the middle) and all I can manage is it appearing right at the bottom of the page (it automatically goes there if I select the homepage)
I tried using the shortcodes (and deactivating the calendar which appears on the footer) without success, depending if I put it in html or just sitting alone all it does is it shows the shortcode or it creates an error 500.

Can anyone help me? I also tried putting a id in the “insert in DOM” field with no success.

    Thank you,

  • Hello,

Our calendar is defaulted to the bottom of the page. There is unfortunately no way to change the behaviour.

    Thanks

    Hi, that’s a real shame.
But then what are the shortcodes for? Can’t I use them to put them inside a div?
Isn’t there a way around this? It seems that others have managed, I might have misunderstood.

    Thank you for your insight

The default calendar page is just that, the default.

The shortcodes are so you can directly embed a calendar in other pages (ie: not the calendar page).

Note: The “Back to Calendar” button goes back to the default calendar page. If you don’t want to use the default calendar page, then you probably want to disable this button and implement your own button/link.

Ok I got it now, the calendar stays in the footer on the default calendar page, that’s fine with me as it’s the only thing on that page.

But as I mentioned in my original post the shortcodes aren’t working for me, to display on the homepage.
Any clues? It might be because of the shortcodes already used by the theme I’m using (lush), but if I put it directly in html, the page simply won’t load, and if I insert it between preexisting shortcodes it just shows as text.

    Hi,

    Could anyone help me please?
As I said the shortcodes aren’t working for me.

    Thank you

I have same problem. Default view is O.K. but shortcode generates error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 261900 bytes) in /mnt/data/accounts/d/SITENAME/data/www/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 2875

I tried to change MEMORY LIMIT in PHP.ini and wp-config.php but without effect.

You’ve got 128MB allocated, and the way you’ve got it set up it seems to need more.

Have you tried going to a higher value like 160MB or 192MB?

Well – I changed ML to 192 MB and there is no error now. Just white screen… ??
