Insert button does not work

    Hello,

    I am having a problem with using the free version of the Spider video player in a WordPress website. When I try to implement the video directly in the page via the button I am not able to use the insert button no matter what settings I use.

    Also, when I am trying to use the coding as suggested on the help page ([Spider_Video_Player id = “N”] or Spider_Single_Video spoor = “Video-ID” theme_id = “Thema-ID” priority = “0/1”]) but this also does not solve the problem (video is still not shown).

    I read a post on google that this problem occurred before and the solution was to install the latest version but I am already on the latest version (as messaged when I try to upload from the WP admin). I am using the Mesmerize theme for the website. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

    Please deactivate all of your plugins except Spider Video Player. If this solves the problem, reactivate each plugin one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin. If found, contact that plugin’s developers for help, or use a different plugin.
    Switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Fifteen to see if your theme is causing an issue. If so, contact the theme’s developers for help, or use a different theme.
    Then, clear all cache (server cache, caching plugin, and browser cache).
