  • Do you have the latest version? Version 2.2.7 or 2.2.8 should work fine.

Also, it might be that your cursor was not in the textea when you hit the “Add Registration Form” button. Then it will not insert the button.

Otherwise, do you see an error in the console of your inspector?

    Dear Marcel,

I am having the exact problem as Neiljmac.
Which is indeed a shame because the plugin is awesome if it would work.

When I press the “insert the form” I see in the following in the url after my website name:
    wp-content/plugins/simplr-registration-form/simplr_reg_options.php?null=1#

The “null=1#” makes me think that maybe you forgot to add the link to the insert the form?
    have a # there instead?
    Just a wild guess….

I do have the latest version and i made sure the cursor was not in the texterea.

Would love to get the plugin up and running

Hmm, not sure about that link. I will take a look a it.

BTW, make sure the cursor is in the textarea.
I think it would be something to fix as well.

Thank you for the quick reply!!!!
I tried both with the cursor in and out the textarea.
    Both didn’t work.

Right now I am using the shortcode I found someone mention and that seems to work ??

    Ok, great.

Can you tell me what browser you use?
For me in Firefox it works.

Tried with Safari but doesn’t work either ??

Hi, I have tested again, but it really works with Chrome as well.

After reading your post again I think there is a JavaScript error in your website. That is why when you click the first button, you go to the url:
    wp-content/plugins/simplr-registration-form/simplr_reg_options.php?null=1#
If JavaScript would work, you would stay on the edit page and get a modal.

Can you check what is in the console of your Inspector? You can right-click with your mouse, and select Inspect Element. Then select the tab for the Console. Go to the edit page. I expect that you already see an error then.

I have the same problem and this is the error I get when I do what you said. Please, help, man. Your plugin looks so easy, I just need to get that part to work.

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘execCommand’ of null
    [“first_name”, “last_name”, “first_name”, “last_name”, isEmpty: function, swap: function]

    Hi,
This bug happens when the Visual Editor is not active.
Version 2.2.9 checks for this and adds it to the normal textarea.
