Insert Cutenews in WordPress

    hello, this is my site: ainara-delgado.com and i’m trying to insert cutenews in my wordpress site, so, the news and updates will be displayed with cutenews and not with the archives section that wordpress contains. I’ve been trying to make it work, but it says “invalid template characters” as you can see next to the sidebar. I’ve been trying to figure out what’s the problem and I don’t get to find the answer. can anyone help me? I’m sure it’s the codex, but I don’t know how to make it work.

    Outside of the fact that I thought CuteNews was abandoned ages ago (and I want my money back…), why? WordPress can do everything CuteNews did an more. What’s the purpose of using CuteNews? Maybe there’s an alternative to that old app.

    the only purpose is that i know how cutenews works, but i don’t knwo how wordpress does with news, so, till i find out, i wanted to insert the news with cuetnews. that’s why i’m asking. when i find out the way to make my site look like this with wordpress, i’ll abandon cutenews. so, does anyone know how to do this?

    That’s just a matter of finding the right theme ?? A lot of sites use WordPress (and a lot of them, mine included, moved from CuteNews).

    yeah, ok, i’ve already been looking for that, and i know how i want the design of the news or archives, i just down’t know how to make it look like i designed in cutenews before in this other website : ainara dreams. it’s a code matter, not finding the correct template.

    Right, that’s called Theming in WordPress.

    Seriously, you find a theme that lets you have the posts look like that.

    ok, no longer the matter! i just learned how to code wordpress to show what i want. and it’s working really fine! thanks anyway…
