Insert Date into Post Title

I’m trying to find a plugin that will let me insert the entry date into an entry title, preferably with a shortcode like “[date format=”l, F jS”]” or something similar. I checked out the Auto Post Title plugin, but that seems to insert them into every post — I just want to be able to have them on certain entries. Is there something that will let me do this? Thanks for any help.
