    Anyway, I picked this up! And the short answer is yes.

    If you have a file in Drive (e.g. PDF) then you have the option to embed it in the page, or choose Download to provide a direct link.

    However, users will need to have permissions to see the file. Typically, set Sharing settings to Anyone with the link can view, and that should be sufficient.

    For native Google Doc formats (e.g. Google Spreadsheets) you can currently only embed or link – since these types of ‘file’ only really exist in the cloud. However, the next version of our premium plugin is likely to include the possibility to export these files as Excel etc.
