Insert Excel table in text field

  • After upd to the latest WP 4.4 I can no longer copy excel 2010 table and past it in to the product text area, page, post, as an table. The text ends up in one long text string or if I past as “text only” I get the text in separate lines but not in a table.
    If I check the code, the <table style= etc etc etc, definition i long longer there its just plain text.
    If I copy and past a table from a website it works as in previously wp version.

    Why would I need new plugin for CSV importing?

    I’m not importing excel files to WP I’m simply copying and pasting in part of a excel sheet with product specifications to the text area in Visual Editor like I have done the past 2+ years.
    And it was no problems until I updated to latest WP 4.4 version. I can still do this from Word but it gives me a ton of extra work.

    From what I can find this was also a problem on WP 3.9 so I believe the problem must have reappeared again in WP 4.4

    How you are copying
    are you using ctrl+c to copy that ?

    or select and copy
